Obtaining a Software License

Licensing a customized version for your club or facility.

The ESS System can be licensed by any club. The system can be customized to meet the unique needs of any racquet facillity. Specifically, it allows each to set its:

• Logo to be used on every screen
• Passwords for proper security and administrative control
• Club Website for automatic linkage
• IP addresses for connection to cameras

The application is licensed on an annual basis based on the number of courts.  The hardware consists of iPads, ethernet based cameras, connecting hardware.and cooling / protective hardware for outside installations.

Licensing Costs and Recommended Hardware

The Base System

Includes base software required for all functions other than video and includes members' software for iPhones or Androids.

$300* per court annually + additional costs for hardware, including:
  • iPad at each court
  • 2nd  iPad  at each court for reverse side where required for viewing.
  • Additional iPads / Monitors for Display and Control Desk
  • iPad locking hardware & attachments
  • Battery or electric wiring connected

* Note:  Discounts on the Base System software licenses will be considered for those clubs where the licensing fees would cause financial stress. If you believe this applies to your club, please just ask.

Video Addition

Includes software to provide the additional functions of viewing videos and ensuring proper password protection.

$175* per court ($150* if bought with initial base system purchase) and additional costs for:
  • Enhanced Video Camera capability
  • Ethernet hardwiring to cameras
  • IP cameras on each court (with additional cameras available for security)

Possible Potential Cost Offsets

There are many ways to offset the costs associated with the ESS annual software licensing.  The following list provides just some of the possible offset.

  • Local Ad revenue -  For advertisements on “Next-UP” screen.  Note, each club will have option not to run ads.
  • Match Video Sales – Sale of Video tape of match within week of playing for individuals or for demonstration matches
    Lesson Videos – Particular lessons can be recorded and sold to members interested in improving the particular skill
  • Lesson Videos – Particular lessons can be recorded and sold to members interested in improving the particular skill
  • Insurance / Loss Reductions – Cameras provide for prevention and insurance reductions
  • Tournament Revenue – Additional TournamentRevenue do to perceived “friendliness” of site
  • Perceived Club Value – Perceived value of club increases as investments for club improvement are made showing the commitment to the future as well as providing the member’s  app to better integrate membership to the club.
